The food is actually quite amazing. We ordered the fried tofu, combination pho, pork and rice, and deep fried egg rolls. Quite tasty. The point off is for the owner’s little kid who kept making gagging sounds near the customers. The sound does not please anyone’s appetite. It made me a bit nauseous and not able to eat at one moment. Other than that, I’d recommend coming to this restaurant for the food.

The broth is SO delicious and the place is nice and clean!! Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious tofu and vegetarian dishes. One of our favorite places in the city. We have often driven all the way from Lakewood just to eat here.

This is my third time visiting this restaurant this month and i have to say this has to be the best Vietnamese restaurant in Capital Hill. Today i tried their chicken with bell peppers and i have to say it melted in my mouth. I was so impressed how tender the chicken was. This won't be the last time i visit this place for sure. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR EVERYONE.

My partner and I have been going here for about a year almost on a weekly basis. I know, I know, that's a lot of eating out, but we love it here!!! We are a vegan and vegetarian couple and find it to be the best vietnamese in the neighborhood for our lifestyle. There are many reasons why we love it here:1. The food is delicious!!! It never disappoints. Tam is very nice and very helpful when it comes to ordering vegan. My favorite is the vegan soup pho with tofu. 2. It is an inclusive place for all dietary needs. Tam is the main staff member we order from and she tries her best to make it an inclusive place for all to eat. There even is vegan chicken.3. Very friendly and very good service. We will even be greeted when we are just walking by.4. When we are sick with the cold or flu, our go to is to order the vegetable pho with tofu to go. It always makes us feel better!! This is one of my favorites places in town!! Best not to skip this one.

This is a super clean and easy to access restaurant! Great food too and willing to adjust for low carb!

I am greatly moved by many things, but not very spiritual. I’ve noticed that one of the only rituals that I really do is prepare my pho 🍲 It delights me to stir in the slices of jalapeño to let the spice start blossoming, peel apart the slices of rare beef, spritz the wedge of lime into the broth, tear the cilantro leaves and sprinkle them into the bowl, chiffonade the basil with my finger tips, drizzle on the hoisin and red chili sauces, and finally CONSUME 😋 #basickitchenwitch #soupforlyfe #phoreals #sophokinggood

To be honest I never dined in this place, wanted to, but did not. However I have tasted their food & it’s yumm.I suggested to go here, at the same time wanted to try another place, so while 2 friends went here, I got to sample their takeaway. They took a chicken Com Chein a beautiful flavourful Fried Rice with peas, egg & grilled chicken, was excellent loved every morsel of the spoonful I stole from my friend.Next was a nicely spiced, chicken noodles, HU Tiew Xao, a type of Flat & wide Noodles with brown sauce, chicken & veggies. Very nicely seasoned, wonderfully cooked flat noodles & spicy chicken.After tasting these more than a couple of spoonfuls, I was tempted to share this experience, with a promise of going back trying their other beautiful offerings, soon.

Love this place. My go to solo lunch spot. The owners are so nice and efficient. Food is fresh as well as delicious.

I just ordered the Tangerine Tree Rice and it was amazing. Let me state exactly why. Based on the photo alone, the dish came out accurately portrayed. The egg was crispy at the edges, and runny in the center. The rice... well I realized I had eaten the last of it before I had finished the last of anything else. That good. And I must say those egg rolls have got the most satisfying crunch, without being overdone, please try one and tell me it isn't so. Between the chicken and pork, I honestly can't say which I preferred. Factually, I finished the chicken first, but it was in the right spot. I like the diversity of this plate, and if you're a foodie like me, you will walk out satisfied.

Took sledge's review advice and got the tangerine tree rice, along with pork spring rolls (which were huge), and fried rice. I was NOT disappointed. There was a little mixup as to which dish had which level of spice, but it was all delicious. Even in a to-go order, the food was pretty, and matched their photos. I can only imagine it would be even better dining in.

Got pho, wife even finally tried pho tai (and loved it) - they didn't screw it up by being lazy or fancy so we got what we expected from pleasant staff. I love hole in the wall Pho joints that keep it simple.

This was a delecious quick stop for lunch. I was in amd out in 30 min for free parking. The medium spice was a good heated spice! I wish I had tried the fresh squeezed tangerine juice.

Definitely very clean and refined. I'd say the prices aren't as low as some other Vietnamese food places in the area, but the location is great, the food was incredible, and the service is kind and fast.I highly recommend the tangerine tree vermicelli bowl. Very large and filling with a wonderful array of meats and delicious dipping sauce!

I stopped by tangerine tree for the first time and had a chicken dish. It was so delicious that I’m back from Kirkland to pick up another dish. I felt like I was back in New York City, which is home of the Chinese food. TRY ITFOR YOURSELF.

Fairly high-end food for a reasonable price. Tempts you to take photos! Small parking available, so walk in or go at a low-traffic time.

This place was dope, waitress was super nice, good decor vibes in the place. We got the Spring Rolls with Prawns as an app, these were the bomb dot com, and you'll definitely wanna keep the peanut sauce they come with around, if there's any left over after you surely destroy these taste grenades.Then got the Tangerine Tree Vermicelli, yowza what a bomb meal this was, a great collection of different meats with some tasty noodles and accouterments. I wish there was a little better of a ratio of vegetables and a little less vermicelli, but I can't complain about my weird tastes. GET INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT

Very good pho and spring rolls. Everything was fresh and tasty. Restaurant was very orderly and clean. Cant wait to try some more dishes here. Also, lots of parking in the lot which is a plus for the area!

This is my son most favorite Asian restaurant. They have the best Pho and my whole family could agree on it. The staffs that work there are every nice and respectful. My family and i are looking forward on coming back again.
